Class kick-off is special meeting at George Rogers Park in Lake Oswego.  The session  starts with a welcoming and introduction near the river shore.  The classes will then join the rest of the gathering for a Yom Kippur Tashlikh ceremony by the shore line.  This ceremony will be followed by a pot luck picnic at the park  for more camaraderie.
