We are honored to have Cheryl Kolbe, President and Founder of the Portland chapter of Freedom From Religion Foundation, as our guest speaker. Cheryl will be speaking on how to promote and protect religious freedom. The Freedom From Religion Foundation and our own movement’s initiative, Jews for a Secular Democracy, are members of the Secular Coalition of America. Last April, the Society for Humanistic Judaism honored Rachel Laser, President and CEO of Americans United for Separation of Church and State, with a Constitutional Defender award.
