Advocating for the essential rights of all people was enshrined on December 10, 1948 by the adoption of The Universal Declaration of Human Rights by the United Nations General Assembly. Every year Kol Shalom celebrates this Declaration in our Human Rights Shabbat. This year our celebration will take place via Zoom, due to the ongoing pandemic. We will hear from some of our members about experiences of their own or others that led to the commitment to advocacy for the rights of our fellow humans. I hope you will join our Shabbat service as we come together to reinforce our dedication to each other and all peoples of the world.
