Climate Change: Deeper Roots and Solutions

Harriet Cooke, a semi-retired physician with a Master’s degree in Public Health, has been studying the deeper roots of and solutions to climate change, the greatest public health danger in our lifetime. She has been teaching about these matters through her congregations, Havurah Shalom and P'nai Or, initially transforming Naomi Klein's book This Changes Everything: Capitalism vs Climate into a Tu B'Shvat seder.

Her presentation will cover some of the territory she's been exploring, introduce the Green New Deal, and respond to questions and comments from the community.
