While Humanistic Jews do not believe the Bible was divinely revealed or has any supernatural authority, it is a critically important part of the history of the Jewish people. In terms of literacy and supporting our position as Humanistic Jews, it is important for us to be literate with this text so we can speak with a solid background when we support our positions as Humanistic Jews..
