We, Marv Rosen and Larry Schwartz, as retired psychiatrists, are interested in starting an exploration of mental health issues for large groups and specifically how they concern our community, as Humanistic Jews.   We'll be hosting a Sunday Forum, March 26 on Zoom to start the discussion.  We're prepared to speak on our areas of expertise to get the ball rolling: child and adolescent development in Marv's case; PTSD and adult development in mine; and the role of medication in Mental Health treatment for either/both of us. We know there are other practicing and retired MH professionals among us, whose contributions we'd greatly welcome.   If there is interest in continuing to explore these issues we'd be glad to discuss how we might continue to have meetings with all those interested.
